Publisher Yogscast Games and Foggy Box Games have released new PS VR2 details for their VR title Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending. Originally released back in September 2022 on the original PS VR headset, Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending brings immersive arcade-style gameplay that lets you loose with a cocktail shaker, a collection of mad machinery, and an abundance of crazy ingredients to mix, shake, and serve their way across the universe.
Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending will be a ‘next-gen’ release on the second VR headset for PlayStation as it will feature a lot of enhancements across the board. The game will take full advantage of the new headset and PS VR2 Sense controller features to deliver the most immersive sci-fi bartending game yet. Chris Youles, Creative Director of Foggy Box Games comments:
We’re delighted to confirm that anyone who owns Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending on PS VR will be able to get the PS VR2 version on us. We’ve been thrilled with the reaction to the game since it launched, and look forward to serving up even more hectic intergalactic bartending when the new headset releases next year.
The PS VR2 release of Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending will include a range of VR-specific accessibility options to allow maximum comfort for all players. Playable seated or stranding, the game allows for teleport node-based locomotion and optional snap turning, seated mode height offsets, in-world subtitles, and height adjustment on all surfaces. Key Features of Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending include:
- Four game modes: Campaign, Free Mix, Daily Run and Endless
- Create your own custom drinks with over 2 million cocktail combinations
- The quicker and more efficient you are, the higher the tips to upgrade your equipment
- One chance a day to compete on the global leaderboard for the best score in Daily Play
- Relax or train in-between shifts in your habitat.
Priced at $14.99, the Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending is now available for the PS VR2 headset. If you own the original PS VR version, you are eligible for a free update to the PS VR2 version if you have upgraded to the new next-gen VR headset. If you purchase the PS VR2 version directly, you will get access to the PS VR version of the game as well so it’s a dual package either way.
