Skybound Entertainment, a creator-led, multi-platform content company, has announced that it has made a substantial investment in Mega Cat Studios. Mega Cat Studios is a creative first video game developer with a retro ethos and a culture of innovation. Mega Cat Studios is currently developing WrestleQuest, a new RPG adventure that features a licensed roster of iconic wrestling legends for Skybound Entertainment.
With the help of this strategic investment, Skybound is continuing its efforts to expand its global publishing footprint and to partner with top game-making talent and creative teams. David Alpert, CEO, Skybound Entertainment commented:

Skybound Entertainment recently announced its first-ever Regulation A+ campaign which is now live and accepting investments on the investment platform Republic. The company has raised more than $11.8 million to date and public adoption of the offering has been well-received and Republic has described it as one of the most successful launches on its site to date. Skybound Games is also working on Glitch Busters: Stuck on You which is a frantic co-op shooter currently under development at Toylogic.
Mega Cat Studios has worked previously on different titles including and not limited to modern platform releases along with retro, cartridge-only experiences. Skybound Games has worked on different titles such as The Walking Dead as well as the BAFTA-award-winning game Before Your Eyes which is releasing next month on PS VR2 with a brand-new perspective.
