Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X Launching on November 10, Full Specs Revealed

Microsoft has finally lifted the curtain from all information about its upcoming next-gen Xbox Series range of consoles. Starting with the release date, both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X will release on November 10, 2020. Pre-orders for both consoles will start from September 22, 2020.

Xbox All Access is also being extended to 12 additional countries where players will be able to grab their next-gen Xbox Series console and 24 months of Xbox game Pass Ultimate along with EA Play at $24.99 a month and no additional upfront costs. According to the official blog post by Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, price plays an important role for players, and to complement the Xbox Series X and allow more players an easy gate into the next generation of gaming, the all-digital Xbox Series S was built.

Microsoft has also announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC is getting even bigger as it is partnering up with EA to bring EA Play as part of the membership at no additional cost. This will allow players to experience some of the best EA titles on their next-gen Xbox Series console, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 PC along with their Game Pass subscriptions.

Along with this reveal, Microsoft has officially listed every last bit of information about both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as well detailing that Dolby Vision for gaming first to both of Xbox Series consoles first in 2021. Series S X

While Xbox One S might look small and weaker in comparison, it will come with most of the Xbox Series X features such as faster load times and Quick Resume. Xbox Series S also supports all the same next-gen features including HDMI 2.1, frame rates up to 120fps, DirectX Raytracing, and Variable Rate Shading. It will also support Spatial Sound, including Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision via streaming media apps like Disney+, Vudu, and Netflix at launch.
