ININ Games and Strictly Limited Games have announced the release of the Wonder Boy Collection for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Wonder Boy Collection includes the most iconic adventures in the Wonder Boy franchise released back in the 80s and the 90s. The retail edition of Wonder Boy Collection will include four amazing titles from the Wonder Boy/Monster World franchise. Pre-orders will soon begin in Europe and North America.
Bliss Brain is managing all of the publishing work of Wonder Boy Collection and hence a digital release of the collection is also in the works. The digital release is also limited to Nintendo Switch and PS4 just like the physical release. Apart from the normal physical release, Strictly Limited Games is also working on exclusive Limited and Collector’s Editions that will target die-hard fans of the franchise.
Wonder Boy is a franchise pretty well-known by the gamers of the 80s and the 90s. The franchise has managed to build a huge following all over the world with its dazzling blend of energetic platforming and action RPG. Previously, the franchise saw some Western releases as well including the most recent Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World. To celebrate the legacy of the franchise, Wonder Boy Collection will contain a carefully curated collection of essential titles in the legendary series.
The modern releases will also feature modern features such as filters, shaders, rewind and fast-forward, save-anytime, and plenty of other features. Players will also find a beautiful art gallery in the collection. The four titles included in the collection include:
- Wonder Boy (1986)
- Wonder Boy in Monster Land (1987)
- Wonder Boy in Monster World (1991)
- Monster World IV (1994)
