Ultimate Games S.A. has announced that their king crab fisherman simulator, Deadliest Catch: The Game has officially left Early Access and is going to be making its way for a release on consoles. This means that the game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch

The game was originally released in Early Access on Steam for PC back in November 19, 2019. On the other hand, the console version of the game is planned for the last quarter of 2020, or at in Q1 of 2021.

Based on the popular Discovery Channel series with the same name, the game is a realistic 3D simulator created with the cooperation of Discovery Channel and Discovery Game Studios. Players will be able to catch king crabs in the Bering Sea, all while managing a special fishing boat called the crabber. The developers have put particular attention to detail as the gameplay combines realism and approachability.

The CEO of Ultimate Games S.A. Mateusz Zawadski talked about the community feedback while it was in Early Access.

While in Early Access, Deadliest Catch: The Game was well received by the players. As of today, the percentage of positive reviews has reached almost 70%. In recent months, the game has been improved upon and expanded with new features, in accordance with the previous plan and player feedback. Thanks to this, the game recreates the conditions known from the popular Discovery channel even more faithfully
