MinMax Games which is known for making Space Pirate Zombies 1&2, and Golftopia, has just revealed Clanfolk, a new life sim game set in the highlands of medieval Scotland.
The game will have you living off the land using historically accurate tools and the processes required to survive in the past, all the while building a settlement for your Clan. Check out the announcement trailer below:
Clanfolk is a historically accurate colony and life simulation. Clear the land, build a home, hunt, fish, gather, craft, have children, marry them off, raise livestock, farm, meet the neighbors, hire, trade, run an inn, prepare for winter. Build your home in the highlands… or die trying.
The world in Clanfold is fully simulated and is the largest threat to nature itself. In the beginning, you will have plenty of food and nights will be warm. But as the season change, resources will dwindle and will require the most careful planning for your clan to survive. Surviving the first winter will be the toughest and will likely end in failure if you are not prepared.
Clanfol comes after 4 years of development by MinMax Games. The development of the game begun simultaneously with Golftopia, but was quiet as Golftopia was fully released back in March. Now that the game has been announced, MinMax has stated that the developer intends to launch the game in Q4 2021 for PC via Steam.
Key Features:
- Clear the land and build your homestead, your way.
