Available starting today on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this update brings significant enhancements to the crafting system and introduces several community-requested features and mechanics.

Crafting System Overhaul and New Features
The April Crafting Update revolutionizes the crafting experience in Smalland: Survive the Wilds with several key additions and improvements:
- Local Storage-Based Crafting: Crafting stations can now utilize items from nearby storage containers, enhancing efficiency and convenience.
- Improved Build Menu UI: The build menu now features extra tabs for quick filtering through Buildable and Cosmetic options, streamlining the construction process.
- New Scalable Building Blocks: Introducing a new type of building block with three shapes for each material variant, including Twig, Wood, Stone, and Metal.
- Time-Based Crafting: Certain items now require time to craft, adding a strategic element to crafting decisions.
- Fuel Requirements: Some crafting recipes now necessitate various resources as fuel for crafting stations, indicated by a fuel icon.
- Enhanced Visuals and VFX: Crafting stations now boast improved visual effects to indicate when they are in use or idle.
- Landclaim Totem: A new placeable item that stakes claim to a plot of land, allowing for limited building and interaction within the owner’s range, with options to make it public for broader use.
Additionally, the update includes various fixes and improvements to enhance overall gameplay stability and user experience.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds is developed and published by Merge Games, a subsidiary of Maximum Entertainment.
