Skybound Games has confirmed that The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Edition is going to release on 10 September 2019. The game will contain all the four season and the DLC. The confirmation comes after Skybound Games announced the definitive edition earlier this year.
It also contains the behind the scenes bonuses from the game developers, voiceover artists, and the other team members that helped bring the Clementine story to life. It also comes with 10+ hours of developer and voice artist commentary. Skybound has also worked on improving the gameplay with character performances, lip syncing and the user interface.
The previous announcement of the game also brought out the pre-orders of the physical collector editions of the game. Unfortunately, the dates of the collector’s edition pre-order closed on 31 May. The four different collector packs included the starter edition, which is the Protector Pack costing $99.99. The Guardian Pack costing #249.99. and the Signature Pack costing $349.99.
The now sold out Signature Pack came in a signature stamped box, included with a hand-signed art print from the Still Not Bitten team, voiceover artists and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. It also includes all items from the Guardian Edition.
This is good news for people who have not played The Walking Dead series from the start. The first season of The Walking Dead was released back in 2010 by Telltale games, with four consequent seasons over the following years. All of the seasons and the episodes that they contain will be available in this series.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is a compilation of all the seasons plus the additional upgrades. It also comes with graphical improvements and bonus features like behind the scenes videos. The pre-order for the physical game is available from the official shop of Skybound Games.
