Ubisoft Reveals Operation Ember Rise as New Season Update in Rainbow Six: Siege

It is that time of the year again, where Ubisoft has finally started teasing the upcoming season in Rainbow Six: Siege. Operation Ember Rise is going to bring out two new Operators which are confirmed to be Amaru and Goyo, along with a reworked version of the Kanal map.

The new operators will feature in the Latin American expansion which features both the Mexican and the Peruvian Operators, bringing in advanced gadgets and to refresh the gameplay. The reveal shows an image where the two operators are sitting around a campfire, overlooking the thick dense forest that lies ahead. While we cannot see their faces as their backs are turned around towards us, we can still make out that one of the Operator is a male and the other a female.

The reveal was made by the Russian Ubisoft Twitter account which also revealed the names along with the confirmation of the reworked Kanal map.

Operation Ember Rise will begin very soon. Amaru and Goyo will be introduced to Rainbow Six – the new operators from Peru and Mexico, which will make the gameplay even more diverse. There will also be a full Kanal rework. More details will be revealed at the #RaleighMajor final.

Prior to the reveal, there were many leaks that detailed the features of the Operators. The operators and their gadget abilities are still not confirmed, but an infamous leaker by the name of Komora has already revealed the screenshots of the upcoming Operators.

A detailed reveal of the operators along with the gameplay features, and the new reworked map will be shown this weekend on Sunday, August 18 at 10:30 am PT. you can watch the reveal live at the latest Rainbow Six Pro League Finals that will be streamed on Twitch.
