Apex Legends has just brought in a new game mode called Orientation Match, which is designed specifically for new players that are stepping into the competitive world of the game. Gone are the days when you just had to rely on Training Grounds to test out the game, as Respawn Entertainment has just launched a much-needed Beginners Mode for newcomers to truly get an experience of the battle royale more. This Apex Legends Orientation Match Guide will show you how to play this new game mode.
The new game mode is made solely for new players, disallowing any players who have played the game before. This means that if you have ever played Battle Royale of Apex Legends, you are ineligible to try out the new game mode. Make sure to check out the best Apex Legends Team Deathmatch Legends as well. Apex Legends Orientation Match Guide
For players with a fresh account in Apex Legends, you will start off with the Training Grounds. This is normal procedure for any newcomer as it lets you get familiar with the basics and also try out all the weapons available in the game.
After you have completed the Training Grounds, you will then move on to the Orientation Match mode. The matches in the new game emulate everything from the game’s Battle Royale mode, except that you will be fighting against bots instead of other players.
The bots are pretty easy, when comparing it to the players that you will face in the competitive battle royale mode, but do offer enough fight to understand how combat will work and how you are supposed to take down multiple players in a single squad.
How to Play Orientation Matches with Friends
Orientation Matches are not designed for any experienced players of Apex Legends to start up on their own. But this doesn’t stop them from joining the game with you. Again, if you have a fresh account, you can invite any of your friends to join in with you. Or if you have a friend who have just booted up the game for the first time, you can ask them to start up the game and invite you in the party.
Orientation Matches will run until you can unlock the Battle Royale mode of the game. This is to ensure that new players play a few games until they get a hang of things before they can join the competitive lobby.
