With Apex Legends Season 9 gearing up to launch next month in May, the new season update will bring nerfs to many of the Legends in the game including nerfs to Loba and Lifeline.
The developer team over at Respawn Entertainment is always looking to balance out new and old Legends, weapons, and abilities as players adapt overtime or find out ways to misuse a mechanic making it too powerful and throwing off the balance between new and old players. Legends in the game have been subject to many nerfs and buffs ever since the game has been launched, where every season brought out some change or the other that was intended to balance out the gameplay for everyone.
Season 9 of Apex Legends will be no different as it brings changes to the current Legends in the game. Starting with Lifeline, the devs have now confirmed that Lifeline’s passive ability will be nerfed while buffing her ultimate ability. Changes to her passive ability mean that they could be removing her revive shield, which was something that wasn’t originally a part of this legend when the game first launched. But to balance things out, we know her ultimate ability is going to be buffed along with her Doc drone which will heal 60% faster than what it currently does.
The other Legend who is being buffed is Loba, which is nothing significant per say as it will only reduce her Black Market Boutique range. There might more changes that the developers might share over time as we get close to the launch date of Season 9.
Other unconfirmed changes to other legends will see some sort of buff or nerf for characters like Octane, Fuze, Revenant, and Crypto. But for any such information, we will have to wait for the official announcement by Respawn Entertainment.
