Epic Games has just launched Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 and it comes with a lot of changes, a completely new battle pass with new items and skins, and map changes that see the addition of new locations for players to land, explore, and fight at.
As of right now, Season 4 of Fortnite is available to play as the downtime is over. Epic Games also released a new trailer for the new Battle Pass this season, along with the Marvel Heroes that you will be able to play as.

After the Island and the world of Marvel collided, powerful abilities are now at your command,” reads the official patch notes. During the battle, adopt super-powers like Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets, Groot’s Bramble Shield, Silver Surfer’s Board, and more arriving later in the Season.
In addition to new super-powers, take action with the Stark Industries Energy Rifle, a distinct weapon from Stark Labs that has a different benefit depending on how you aim. Bring your weapons and powers with you as you explore iconic locations both current and upcoming, such as Doom’s Domain, Sentinel Graveyard, and more
Battle Pass
A new battle pass has always been a part of any new season in Fortnite. However, the latest battle pass for Season 4 contains Marvel Heroes that include Iron Man, Thor, She Hulk, Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Wolverine, and Groot. The Marvel heroes come from a mix of different marvel comics, all assembled together for Nexus War against Galactus.
Like any other typical battle pass, it contains the new hero skins that you can earn as rewards, and the usually battle pass rewards that include emotes, pickaxes, gliders, and V-Bucks. The battle pass also costs the same as it ever was in Fortnite, you can buy the Season 4 battle pass for 950 V-Bucks or $10.
New Weapons
With the new season, Epic Games has added a few new weapons, while also vaulting some other weapons that include the Tactical Shotgun, Pistols and Rapid Fire SMG, and more. New weapons that have been added this season include a Fire Trap, a Suppler Drone, and Energy Rifle from the Start Industries.
The new season has also seen the return of previously vaulted weapons, which includes the Pump Shotgun, Tactical Submachine Gun, Shockwave Grenades, Boogie Bombs, Combat Shotgun, and Bounce Pads.
Map Changes / New Locations
The new season also comes with new map changes and Marvel-inspired locations. There is now a huge carrier airship in the air, which is undoubtedly going to be the hottest location. Another new location is Doctor Doom’s Domain, which is going to be the main location for this villain from Marvel.
Other new location is the Sentinel’s Graveyard, which sees the carcasses of defeated robots that lay waste to this location.
