Minecraft is not known to be very graphics intensive. You can play it on PC, console and even on smartphones and tablets. The graphics have never been all that great and that could be one of the reasons why people love it. It is simple. What would Minecraft look like with ray tracing effects? If you wondered that then you need to imagine it any more.

The game looks pretty great with ray tracing effect. While the textures are pretty much the same as they would be with all the settings maxed at 4K, ray tracing makes the water and reflections look really immersive. Minecraft is not the most realistic game in the world but you can still appreciate how great the game looks with ray tracing.

This might not look all that exciting if you have not played Minecraft but if you have then I know that you can appreciate the video and the work that this YouTuber has put into this video. The creator has also done a comparison between what the game originally looks like and what Minecraft looks like with all settings maxed out at 4K with ray tracing. You can see the difference.

If you have an RTX card then you should be able to get to the same settings as well. Minecraft is not an intensive game so you should be able to hit 4K with ray tracing enabled with an RTX 2070. If you do try this then let us know how the experience was for you.

Microsoft is adding Minecraft to Game Pass this month. The company is also planning to introduce Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which will combine Game Pass and Gold into a single subscription.
