Quantic Dream took to the spotlight at gamescom 2023 and shared new trailers for three of its upcoming titles including Under The Waves, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, and Dustborn. All three games received brand-new trailers which showcased additional details about the games including release windows, new mechanics, and information that was previously not known. Dubbed SPOTLIGHT by QUANTIC DREAM, all three trailers were showcased during the gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live.
Starting with the first title Under The Waves, developed by Parallel Studio is a new narrative adventure game set under the water. It has been in development for almost 4 years now since its first prototype was revealed. It will be released on August 29, 2023, in digital form on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Pre-orders for Under The Waves are now live and you can add the game to your wishlist on your favorite platform including PlayStation, Xbox, or PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Apart from its digital release, a deluxe physical version is also available which will be released alongside the digital release on August 29, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It will include an art book and a set of exclusive stickers along with a physical copy of the game.
Moving on, we have the Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior which is slated for a PC release in early 2024. This is a classic hack ’n’ slash title where you will control Ime, a powerful heroine who can summon clones from her past to help her out. With the help of her clones, you will control Ime and fight hordes of powerful enemies in countless arenas. The third and final game showcased at the event by Quantic Dream was the brand-new title Dustborn which is currently under development at Red Thread Games in Oslo. It is a surprising retelling of the action-adventure game with high narrative content, boosted by comic-book-style art direction. It is slated for release in 2024 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Dustborn follows the wild ride of Pax and her crew through the dystopian Divided States of America, part postcard, part totalitarian and you can see it all in its new trailer below:
