WWE 2K20 : 10 Features Fans Want in this Year’s Game

WWE 2K20

Wrestling fans all around are all set to jump back in the ring with the 2K game’s upcoming video game WWE 2K20 which is the franchise’s 7th title in their lineup of flagship WWE games. Yes, the fans are super hyped as we all are close by August 5th (the day of reveal ) but there’s also one huge factor that stays jammed in our hearts that it’s pretty much going to be the same thing but with better aesthetics and a few more new additions done to the game. So how could 2K make their new game more awesome and give fans something they are crazily wishing for? Let’s have a look!

10. Royal Rumble’s Camera Angle

It might sound super basic and nothing special but yes. A single change of camera placement can do a lot to the gameplay and in 2k’s case, they’ve changed Royal Rumble’s camera angle to a point where you can’t see wrestlers walking down the ramp to join in the rumble. People loved the old camera angle where you could see the different runs as it made the event more special unlike now where you can’t see them until they are inches away from entering the ring…Come on 2K!

9. A Women’s My Career

Over the years we have played many wrestling videogames and after a bunch of titles we got to play with women superstars which is great but what’s not great is the fact that you can’t really do more than that with them so it’s about time we get to see a dedicated my career that show’s the struggles and hard work of women superstar. Given the time we are in and how the women’s revolution is in full swing now really is the best time to pull it off!

8. Return of the Gimmick Matches

Remember the good old days when we had a huge selection of match types ranging from Inferno, Buried Alive, Slobber Knocker, Casket, and all other amazing matches? How amazing were they back in time and given how it’s been years now with us getting the same few match types all over again? With today’s engine and graphics, those gimmick matches would be so incredible!

7. Road to WrestleMania

Road to WrestleMania is one of the most loved modes of wrestling video games. With great superstars and super over-the-top stories with angles like The Undertaking playing mind games with you. Triple H turning into a zombie or Wyatt taking you to his house of horrors it is absolutely epic to play through such tales set in the world of WWE and nothing more is being missed than this mode. Ah, the memories!

6. GM Mode

Who doesn’t want to take the role of General Manager of the world’s biggest wrestling promotion? Well, everyone surely does! Back in the day, we had this incredible fun mode where your work was to manage superstars, shows, and all of the products produced throughout the year.

5. Custom Entrance Themes

You know what’s absolutely saddening? Creating your own superstar by putting in a lot of work and when it comes to entrances you can’t put the music of your choice! Crazy how this thing does wonders and the level of satisfaction you get to hear your desired track playing when your hand is raised by the referee as you win. The previous generation had it why can’t the current one get this too?

4. New Engine

With the last 6 games giving us the same gameplay with barely any changes in your one-on-one matchup things honestly have gone a bit stale, The mix of up arcade and simulation is all good but everything has its time, and for WWE 2K games that time is up. There has to be a new engine that gets us the better and faster Wraaslin action we used to get playing HCTP. Yeah, we are in a time where the new Call Of Duty game finally has a new engine and 2K sports does not….wow!

3. Fixed Commentary

Instead of commentary getting better along with each new game we here think that it has gone all the opposite or has somewhat slightly changed, yeah talking during the entrances gives it a life-like feel but my god how terrible is it during the match? “This one’s getting ugly” is a phrase that is said a million times! Get it all revamped for the love of god we are heading in the 20th entry.

2. New Match Types

Imagine how freaking amazing things would be if we get new match types? The franchise desperately needs new match types like War Games, Ambulance matches, flag matches even one hand tied behind the match. We’ll take anything apart from the currently available options in the match selection screen.

1. Largest Roster Ever

Last three years whenever the new game comes out we get to hear “Largest roster ever” However it is somewhat true but at the same time, it really isn’t! 2K should really go all out, and nail the biggest roster scene by including names like Bob Orton, Ahmed Johnson, Owen Hart and so many more. Get in with stars from NXT UK as well as ECW and WCW icons and my friends would make one hell of a roster in WWE 2K20. A guy can dream, right? Haha!

With all this said let’s hope and pray that if not maybe a few of the features missed by fans are finally added back into the game along with a few newer ones. Make sure to check out our dedicated section for all WWE 2K20 guides as well.
