Hardcore Skating Sim Session: Skate Sim Announces Release Date

Publisher NACON and developer Crea-ture Studios have announced the release date of their hardcore skating simulator Session: Skate Sim. Session: Skate Sim was released earlier in Early Access on PC and Xbox Game Preview however the title is now gearing up for its full release. Session: Skate Sim will leave Early Access on September 22, 2022, and will be fully released on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store along with console releases across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5.

Session: Skate Sim received a major update back in February 2022, and the content delivered until now will be taken to the next level until September’s full launch. Crea-ture studios has been gathering feedback and taking in requests during the early access phase and are currently hard at work to make sure that the game’s quality is top-notch at its full release. Back in February 2022, the developer also shared a community trailer showcasing the best stunt clips submitted by fans of the game.

Session: Skate Sim is a hardcore racing sim where the game invites you to dive into the 90s-inspired skateboarding way of life where every pavement and stairway is a location for your favorite stunt. The game features ultra-realistic physics with twin-stick gameplay where each stick controls one foot in what the game calls ‘True Stance Stick’. With a high learning curve just like in real-life, Session: Skate Sim is a love letter to skating fans from all around the world and those who want to experience the most brutal form of skating yet to arrive on PC or consoles. With a hefty stunt list already built into the game, you are set right from the start to live your skating dream.

We previewed the early access version of Session: Skate Sim recently and during our preview, we found that this skating sim is full of potential and if delivered correctly, it can easily become the best skating title to ever come out on PC and consoles. It has a massive potential to become a fan favorite however the developer really has to listen to its fans and work towards making the title as glitch-free at launch as possible. NACON initially announced the partnership with Crea-ture Studios for Session: Skate Sim back in January 2021. You can jump into the early access version right now on Steam or Xbox Game Preview.
