NACON and KT Racing have unveiled WRC 10, the latest installment of the official rally game by FIA just in time to celebrate 50 years of the sport. In 2022, FIA World Rally Championship will celebrate its 50th season and WRC 10 will celebrate the sport’s 50 years. The game builds on the success of WRC 9 as the developer is adding a bunch of improvements and new features to the anniversary edition.
WRC 10 will let you relive the most intense moments of the Championship from 1973 to the present day. It will feature a retrospective mode offering you a chance to relive 19 events that have shaped the history of the Championship. These challenging special stages will put your skills to the test by imposing conditions specific to each era. You will be able to drive six historical rallies, including the legendary Acropolis Rally in Greece and Rallye Sanremo in Italy.
The game will also feature some of the most iconic cars from brands like Alpine, Audi, Lancia, Subaru, Ford, Mitsubishi, and Toyota. WRC 10 will feature the most content as it pays homage to 50 years of rallying. WRC 10 will create even more accurate and intense driving sensations as it expands over the critically acclaimed driving model of WRC 9. A complete audio design will ensure that immersion at its peak while playing the game. Check out the WRC 10 announcement trailer below:
WRC 8 featured a new Career mode on which WRC 9 was made as well by making it better and more efficient in ways where WRC 8 lacked. Now, WRC 10 will further improve this Career Mode with a new livery edition and the option to create your very own team in the game. You can now apply your very own liveries on your championship cars to compliment the 52 official teams of the 2021 season. NACON has also revealed the game’s packshots which have been created alongside Automobilist.com. Check them out below:
