WRC 9 FIA Rally Star DLC Lets You be Part of World Rally Championship

WRC 9 FIA Rally Star DLC

Nacon and KT Racing have partnered with Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) to bring the WRC 9 FIA Rally Star DLC. The latest competitive mode in the DLC is part of the worldwide program looking to find future rally drivers.

The DLC brings your dream to reality by giving you a chance to become a real world rally driver, recognized by FIA itself.

Nacon has also provided some details, saying that from February all the way until August of this year, 12 online trials will be hosted to select the most promising drivers in WRC 9. The first phase of the competition will be for drivers ages between 17 and 26, and will be played exclusively with the new M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3. Winner of each of the 12 trials will then qualify for one of the six continental finals.

After the finals, 7 of the best drivers, including at least one woman, will be enrolled in an FIA exclusive training and practice program, taking you one step close to the dream. The adventure will continue for 2 seasons in the FIA Junior WRC for the best drivers.

Jérôme Roussel, FIA programme manager had this to say,

The new level of realism in WRC 9 gives us the opportunity to propose this challenge to all of the sport’s fans around the world. The next Sébastien Loeb, Ott Tänak or Sébastien Ogier may well already be practising on their console or PC! We just need to find them!

WRC 9 was released back in December of last year, and we gave it a 9/10 in our review of the game. The game was also released on the latest PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, taking full advantage of the additional power and features of the next-gen consoles have to offer and is a definitive upgrade over the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
