WRC 9 Free Update Brings in Co-Driver Mode, New Stages and Vehicles

Nacon and KT Racing have just launched the WRC 9 free update for all players on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to bring in the new Co-Driver mode, new stages, and vehicles for you to try out.

The FIA World Rally Championships’ official game will be available from today on your consoles and PC, while the same update will also be available on new-generation consoles at a later unspecified date.

The all-new Co-Driver mode will allow two online players to race in the same car. The co-driver provides the rally pacenotes – including details on the route, bends and hazards, with complete immersion thanks to the integrated voice chat.

In addition, the WRC 9 update will also bring in the following content:

  • The GR Yaris Rally Concept from Toyota GAZOO Racing in exclusivity
  • 6 new stages to compete for the Rally Portugal
  • The brand-new Co-Driver mode allowing two online players to race in the same car
  • A new livery: the Pirelli Tyre Team, with Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Jaeger, driving the Citroën C3 WRC

KT Racing is going all in to meet the high expectations of fans looking for a tougher challenge with heightened realism. It is because of that the game contains a more enhanced career mode and many technical improvements, allowing players to step into the head of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship season with many great highlights.

  • 3 new rallies: Japan, New Zealand, Kenya
  • Over 50 official teams and their livery from the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC
  • Over 15 bonus cars that have left their mark on the history of the WRC
  • The brand-new Clubs Mode, to create customised championships
