Publisher NACON and developer Tivola have announced the launch of upcoming games Animal Hospital and Wildshade: Unicorn Champions for kids. Both of these games are developed for younger children and are adapted from the popular mobile games. They are slated for release in autumn 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Tivola is a German development studio which specializes in family games for over 25 years.
The new games Animal Hospital and Wildshade: Unicorn Champions explore themes loved by young kids. In Animal Hospital, players will be able to play as a veterinarian who can take care of domestic, exotic, and fantasy animals. On the other hand, in Wildshare: Unicorn Champions, players will ride unicorns and race other players in order to become the champion of the sport. Both titles will be published under the umbrella of NACON and will be released on all modern consoles later this year.
Founded in 1955, Tivola is known for its publishing and development of mobile games in Hamburg. Most of their titles are apps with animals and in their games, players care for cats, train dogs, and ride horses. One game was all about dancing with a hippo as well. The studio started out as a publisher of computer games for children, serving mainly the German market with local brands. Tivola has managed to create both entertaining and educational content for children and because of this, the studio has won nearly every German award in the field of children’s software.
Some of these include ‘Deutscher Computerspielpreis’ and ‘Deutscher Entwicklerpreis’. Ever since the studio turned its focus on mobile games, the studio has managed to attract a much bigger and far more international audience, animal fans, and game lovers from all over the world and of every age. Currently, the studio’s biggest titles include DogHotel and CatHotel which continue the ongoing success of flagships PetWorld and HorseWorld.
Their latest partnership with NACON is bringing two brand-new video games also catering to children’s entertainment and education. At this point, very little information has been announced regarding both games and more details will be revealed in the coming weeks and months so make sure that you keep checking back. NACON is known for publishing different titles such as the upcoming Cricket 24, Taxi Life, Chef Life, Garden Life, Greedfall 2, WRC 10, Bloodbowl III, and more.
