CORSAIR has officially expanded its iCUE LINK ecosystem with the launch of the iCUE LINK RX Series PC cooling fans, marking a significant development in its portfolio of DIY components. This latest addition underscores CORSAIR’s commitment to advancing the DIY PC market through innovative and high-performance products.
The RX Series fans are engineered for optimal cooling efficiency, suitable for both radiator and case applications. These fans integrate CORSAIR Magnetic Dome bearings and AirGuide technology, alongside fan blades developed in-house, to deliver exceptional airflow and cooling performance.
Features and Innovations
The RX Series fans showcase advanced engineering, incorporating Liquid Crystal Polymer in non-RGB models for enhanced durability and performance. The fan blade and frame construction, reinforced with glass fiber, ensures robustness across various usage scenarios.
Offering digital control within the iCUE LINK ecosystem, the RX Series allows users to precisely manage fan speeds, with the 120mm model capable of reaching up to 2,100 RPM and the 140mm model up to 1,700 RPM. Users can easily configure preset fan curves or engage in more detailed adjustments via the CORSAIR iCUE software to meet specific thermal requirements.
“A key objective was to engineer a fan that excels in both radiator and case fan roles,” stated Aaron Neal, Director of DIY Product Marketing at CORSAIR. “Incorporating iCUE LINK technology was equally important to enhance the overall building experience. We believe the RX Series meets these goals, offering exceptional performance and integration capabilities.”
The RX and RX RGB fans introduce CORSAIR’s Magnetic Dome bearing technology, significantly reducing friction and noise while prolonging the fan’s lifespan. Additionally, these are the first CORSAIR fans to feature Quikturn™ screws, simplifying installation with a unique, easy-to-use design.
Integration with iCUE LINK Ecosystem
The iCUE LINK ecosystem has received positive feedback from the DIY community for its approach to simplifying the PC building process. By allowing different component types to connect via a standard universal connector, CORSAIR has streamlined the building experience. Integrated smart technology in all iCUE LINK products facilitates intelligent, two-way communication through a single System Hub, significantly reducing cable clutter and installation time.
