Polish developer Asmodev and publisher Ultimate Games S.A. have announced their brand-new title Priest Simulator which is coming out in 2022. Priest Simulator is an unusual game where you play as a vampire who accidentally becomes a priest. Asmodev is known for its previous titles Infernal Radiation and Ultimate Summer.
Their latest title Priest Simulator is a single-player first-person game that combines various genres into one. Some of the prominent ones include hack n slash, FPS, simulator, renovator, and sandbox. In Priest Simulator, you jump in the shoes of Orlok, a cunning Vampire who has accidentally turned into a priest in the village of San de Ville. This turns the scenario into an unusual one as the Vampire is now masquerading as a priest in the village.
The game will offer you 100 missions to complete which will range from fighting shatanists, caring for parishioners, and exploring the local village. As the new priest of the village, you will administer sacraments, perform exorcisms and also raise funds for the needs of the church. Check out the gamein action in its official trailer below:
Michał Jodłowiec, one of the creators of the titlesays:
Priest Simulator is a touching story about love and good people. It amuses and teaches, but mostly it teaches. What does it teach? Living in humility, hope, and abstinence from soft drugs and shatanism. Thanks to Priest Simulator you will not mistake fear for chastity or anger for courage.
Key features of the title include:
- Living as a village vampire-priest;
- Fighting shatanists;
- Grotesque and absurd atmosphere;
- Destroying and shooting;
- Mockumentary;
- Exploring a large village;
