Chess and Poker Come Together as a Free-to-Play Game Called Choker

Choker brings you the skill, knowledge, and tactics of chess with the unpredictability and bluffing of poker. The result gets you a very intriguing game that requires a lot of skill to win against opponents.

Andrew Finan, the man behind Choker, wanted to add in an interesting feature to chess by bringing in something that can bring some elements of poker in chess. Since there is no element of chance to help the underdog in chess, there is no double or Royal Flush. Finan wondered what would happen when you mix the elements of poker into chess. This is how they came up with the idea of Choker and what we see now.

So how does the game work? You start by placing bets with just a King and a Pawn on the chessboard. You then bet five cards depicting your additional chess pieces. Here is where you can outwit your opponent and play the odds. The second thing to do is place your chess pieces in special drop zones on the chessboard. You need to make a winning strategy here and defend your King, but be on the prowl to attack.

When you have all the chess pieces on the board, this is where it becomes all chess. Now is the time where you can outplay the opponent and win the pot before the timer runs out.
