After merely 2 days of The Walking Dead: The Final Seasonβs first episode launch, Telltale Games has released the complete season schedule and now we know when we can the remaining game episodes. Unlike the previous titles in the franchise, The Final Season has four episodes and we will be able to play them all this year.
Telltale Games released The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 1 on August 14, which concludes the epic story of The Walking Dead franchise. This time we play yet again as Clementine who is trying to survive herself while making sure that no harm comes to AJ. You can check out the launch trailer of The Final Season below.
After the launch of the first episode, Telltale has also revealed the launch date of all remaining episodes so that the players can be made aware of when they can get back into the story of this epic conclusion. This shows that each episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season is only a month apart. We can see from the above Twitter release that the second episode is coming out on September 25, the third episode on November 6, and the last episode is set to come out on December 18. Telltale has mentioned in the post that these dates could be changed so we can expect delays if the need arises.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season features the same visual style as the previous titles but is now much better and fully supports 4K resolution and HDR capabilities so players can experience good visual fidelity on their powerful variants of consoles. We also now have an over-the-shoulder camera perspective, which was much needed in this game.
Apart from these new updates, the main story of the game is as emotional as ever and features the same thrilling action and suspense that the franchise is famous for. A new feature Story Builder allows players to revisit the game locations and adjust the story choices so that you can have The Final Season according to your own choice. Our favorite zombie apocalypse game is finally coming to an end and we can finally see what becomes of Clementine whose journey has seen many ups and downs. It has been a year since the last game in this franchise was released but we have been playing with another character although Clementine was present in the game.
